Nikki Bentley

Nikki graduated in 2007 from the RVC in London and promptly headed to the wild woolly hills of North Wales, which she called home for three years. Here she gained an invaluable grounding in dairy, beef, sheep and small animal work while still seeing the odd welsh mountain pony. After locuming around the UK and abroad, Nikki joined Pilgrims in 2012. She joined the partnership soon after and for much of the time since has juggled business management and clinical work. After having two boys Nikki now works four days a week and is soon to complete a CertAVP in Small Animal Medicine.  

Being a jack of all trades has kept me challenged for much of my career, there are aspects of each I love and miss when not doing. But focusing on the small animal work alongside the business made sense. Building relationships with owners and their pets is one of the most satisfying parts of the job as is the everyday learning. Medicine is always changing.
